It is a strange, kind of niche premise, and honestly this is one of the weaker episodes writing wise, the plot feels thrown together just to fill an episode slot. Some of the jokes about otaku culture might land differently depending on your background, but overall it doesn't add much to the bigger story.

He's not as goofy as Naoki or Keita, but i laughed at Karina when he fully appeared in this episode, I'm still really enjoying this series so far. It's very appealing to me, and there hasn't been a single boring scene for me.
