EPISODE CONTEXT
Three episodes in, Inukami! is still establishing its ensemble rather than driving a central plot forward. Following the possessed macho men absurdity of episode two, this episode shifts setting entirely and uses a pool outing to formally introduce Kaoru's ten Inukami — a key piece of the show's recurring cast dynamic. It lays relational groundwork for Keita's place within this larger supernatural circle, which later episodes will draw on as stakes and rivalries develop.
