EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the wilder energy of Episode 18, 'Mammoth Trouble!', this episode functions as a deliberate comedic cooldown — shifting focus away from Keita and Yoko's central dynamic to spotlight the broader Inukami ensemble around Kaoru. At Episode 19 of 26, the season is deep enough that this kind of character-widening detour adds texture to relationships that will matter in the stretch run. It doesn't advance the main narrative, but it builds out the world before the final act tightens its focus.
