Working as a nurse while her husband is away on a business trip, Nozomi is doing her best to hold things together — professionally, emotionally, and otherwise. Her cousin Junya is hospitalized at the same facility where she works, and their relationship walks a line that's hard to categorize. He's like a little brother to her, or at least that's what she tells herself. Meanwhile, Junya's sister Yumi is training as a nurse at the same hospital, carrying her own complicated feelings that the show doesn't exactly keep subtle. Two episodes, a hospital setting, and a small cast of characters who are all a little too entangled with each other — that's the whole setup. The hospital environment gives it a grounded texture that feels more restrained than you might expect going in.
