Inmu: Feast of Victims

Synopsis
Few things in this genre feel quite so inevitable as the supernatural punishment on display here. Inmu: Feast of Victims is a two-episode hentai OVA from 2000 that plays like a dark anthology, each story dropping a different woman into a situation that spirals from unsettling into full horror territory. The first episode follows Yuumi, who survives a violent assault on her commute to school, only to find that something from that encounter seems to have latched onto her — watching her in the shower, in the bathroom, everywhere she goes. The paranoia alone is genuinely creepy before anything explicit happens. The second episode shifts to a cold fashion designer who publicly humiliates a subordinate, and the supernatural world apparently takes notes, because her punishment is bizarre, public, and escalates quickly. The mythological thread running through both stories gives the whole thing an eerie folk-horror energy, like someone adapted old cautionary tales and filtered them through late-night VHS horror. If you've watched La Blue Girl or Demon Beast Invasion and wanted something with a darker psychological edge, this sits comfortably in that same corner of the catalog. It leans harder into horror atmosphere than most entries in the genre, which makes it stand out. Fair warning though — both stories involve non-consensual content, so go in knowing that. This is not lighthearted. The tone is grim throughout, and that's kind of the point.
