EPISODE REVIEWS

The Eurobeat remix of Bach in the opener was pretty fire!! OST never misses 🔥 Takumi’s gotten the attention of big names in the street racing world. Can’t blame ‘em, this guy has INSANE natural talent~ This is a pretty good lore drop and build-up episode.

Episode Context

Coming off the intense head-to-head action of Episode 5's 'Dogfight!,' this sixth installment pulls back slightly to introduce new rivalries and expand the competitive landscape rather than delivering another immediate showdown. It serves as a crucial bridge in the early quarter of First Stage's 26-episode run, establishing the motivations and tensions that will fuel Episode 7's 'Pride of a Racer,' where personal stakes escalate significantly. The groundwork laid here ensures the season's racing conflicts carry emotional weight alongside mechanical spectacle.
