Man, Keisuke's battle ended in such disappointment. The reason is pretty simple and kind of a classic in terms of Initial D opponents but still a disappointment. It was a clean loss and it makes perfect sense - just wish it was something else cause the pairing was actually pretty good. But more than that, excited to finally come across the Grim Reaper R32. I already knew what the reason would be before they even explained it. Interesting character type and will make for good racing. Definitely can't wait for that one.

The drivers skills are put to the test right from the outset of this episode. The narrative is incredibly intense and detailed, and the polished execution makes everything feel authentic for this genre. The lesson here is to never underestimate your experience. Things are certainly shaping up nicely as we head into the middle of the season.
