A quieter and more personal episode for our main duo as things begin settling down before the finale. Now it’s Oota’s turn to be a little more assertive, since Kashiwada has carried that role through almost the entire series. Oho, this show still manages to surprise me every now and then. That new character certainly spices things up.

I absolutely loved the part with Kashiwada's older brother and his encounter with Oota-kun—it was completely unexpected and I found it really fresh/novel. And instead of his brother being expressionless, he's actually the opposite: he is expressive, BUT you can never tell what he's actually thinking, which ended up totally confusing Oota hahaha. Such a great part of the episode. 10/10

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 9's introduction of a perceptive new classmate, Episode 10 pivots inward, deepening the personal space between Kashiwada and Oota while expanding the cast with Kashiwada's older brother. As the penultimate stretch of a twelve-episode season, this episode bridges the show's mid-season relationship developments with the beach and summer festival events expected in Episode 11, steadily building toward whatever emotional payoff the finale has in store.
