It couldn't all be sunshine and rainbows. Yoi takes things too seriously, and I think she needs words of affirmation more than actions. Kohaku, on the other hand, is much more laid-back and simply goes with the flow; he does show interest, but not quite in the way I feel the protagonist would like. That might be the relationship's weak point. Visually, the episode draws you in with its strong focus on exchanged glances, and it’s a great touch that Kohaku always asks for consent before crossing boundaries that could be uncomfortable. Narratively, it’s a whirlwind, a true turning point where the panic of new feelings boils over. To top it all off, the sound design and music elevate the experience to the max, conveying an emotional rush that makes your heart race from start to finish.
