Honestly the season has a pacing issue and the storyline wasn't as interesting as season 1.The season finally was bad it was a drag having to watch it as an ending to what at first I had high hopes for.
If you're into harem and fan service catered towards male gaze then sure this anime is for you but definitely not for me. It's generally not really a great romance anime in my opinion, there's better ones out there.
I guess you could say it’s a great ending. There are a lot of wholesome moments, and it doesn’t really have any dark or negative ones. It even ends with him discovering two more floating islands and the number of his wives. The pacing is also good for the content, and it isn’t boring since you can really enjoy the happiness they all have.
