📖 SYNOPSIS

After four seasons of clawing his way up the cultivation ladder, Fang Han gets thrown straight into one of the most dangerous places yet in this fifth season — the Taiyuan Immortal Mansion. This ONA picks up with Fang Han and his crew heading to Guixu for training, which naturally means fighting demons and deities before they even get where they're going. The real tension kicks in when Fang Han challenges the Taiyi Sect, basically the top-dog immortal faction in this world, and that confrontation funnels everyone into the mysterious mansion that gives this season its name.

The cultivation system here is genuinely interesting — it weaves traditional martial arts with layered supernatural mechanics in a way that feels more thought-out than most donghua in this space. Oriental Creative Color's 3D animation handles the fight choreography well, with combat sequences that have real weight and flow to them. The soundtrack also does a lot of heavy lifting for the atmosphere, grounding everything in that historical fantasy tone even when things get wild.
