EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

Episode 1 established Kikuru's desire to retire and the setup that forces him into a training role; this second episode builds on that foundation by deepening the recruit dynamics and comedic patterns that will carry the season. Sitting early in the 12-episode run, it's focused on character establishment rather than plot escalation, giving the ensemble room to gel before later arcs introduce higher stakes or new party members.
