I'm Standing on a Million Lives

What a way to end this season. Yotsuya’s perspective on everything was unusual but understandable. The story gets so deep that thinking this is just a typical Isekai would be a huge mistake. There are still too many mysteries left unanswered. A great opener for Season 2.

What a tense episode. The surprise turn of events was intense, how will the revelation at the end affect all of them? A new mysterious character was introduced, bringing in even more questions. The opening credits were also different from usual.

Different closing credits, I think it's a must-watch because it's cute. The episode was all about survival of the fittest, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I’ve started to feel differently about the NPCs, though. Kahvel hesitating to say something to Yotsuya was a turning point for me. The ending was tense, with all of them trying to survive.

It’s a race against time and the quest. The pacing was actually okay, although the beginning focused mostly on Kahvel and Yotsuya, so it felt a bit slow. Not much happened, but everything led toward the completion of the quest.

What a strategy by Yotsuya and his team. But to what extent? Conscience really weighs heavily in this episode. Reality vs. virtual reality, both have a massive impact on their lives. I’ll give credit to the story in this episode.

Still curious about Yotsuya’s past, the glimpses are always the same thing. Glad to have Iu take the lead this time. The fight scenes were intense, and the pacing was good. I’m also curious about how the NPCs were programmed.

This was quite an emotional episode, struggling between finishing the quest and saving humanity. It really brought out most of their true inner characters. The mecha animation was realistic and fascinating, and those eerie sounds? That was bomb.

I think Hakozaki will have one of the best character developments ever if it happens. She’s the only warrior in the party. Kahvel slicing through the monster was gorgeous. Idk why, but I find Yotsuya creepy whenever he puts his hand over his mouth while thinking.

Yotsuya is still mysterious to me. He lacks empathy, but he was wise to decide to finish the quest. Maybe it’s because he was a gamer? Idk. The episode was fast-paced, I must say.

Whattt, dark pasts are being unveiled. Iu’s face during the funeral gave me goosebumps. It was hilarious how they thought they’d become powerful once they got their skills. Level 1 there is so nerfed. Haha.

It’s a typical move for the MC that once they learn a person’s backstory, they become soft toward them afterward. I’m glad it happened to Yotsuya after seeing the log point. The animation was good, especially during the close-up shots of the faces. It gave very vibrant and detailed imagery

I thought at first that this was just a classic isekai, but it gets more sinister toward the end. It’s funny that their level 1 jobs don’t do anything at all. I was intrigued by Yotsuya at the end, he was mysterious and dark. The animation was okay, but it could’ve been better, especially during the action scenes.
