I'm... speechless.

When I said Makino's decision was correct, no, it was perfect. The contrast, ambience, and overall vibe were all perfectly set up in this episode. Every directing choice they made was hella creative. The blend of 3D and 2D animation worked really well, except for one thing, the camera movement. It felt a bit flat considering how fluid the animation was. Ngl, they could've done better.

The performance was an absolute menace, and even the moments after the performance were incredibly impactful. "Beautiful" is the word I'd use to describe this episode.
