Idol Kyousei Sousa

Synopsis
What if a single smartphone could control a woman's body just by taking her photo — that's the core concept driving this two-episode OVA from 2017. The device, nicknamed the 'devil's smartphone,' lets whoever holds it tap the screen to manipulate physical sensations remotely, with no way for the target to resist or even understand what's happening to them. The story zeroes in on Yua Hibino, a young idol navigating the entertainment industry, who becomes the primary target of this power. The idol setting is actually an interesting backdrop here — there's an inherent tension between the curated, public-facing image of an idol and the complete loss of bodily control the smartphone imposes, and the anime leans into that contrast. It's explicit throughout, so go in knowing exactly what you're getting. The animation puts noticeable effort into character expressions and reactions, which is where most of the storytelling actually happens. If you've watched something like Mahou Shoujo Ai or Taimanin Asagi and appreciated that blend of genre setting with adult content, this fits comfortably in that same space. Bible Black fans who like a supernatural object driving the central conflict will also find the premise familiar. It's a short watch — two episodes — so it doesn't overstay its welcome. Niche material, but if the premise sounds like your thing, it delivers exactly what it promises without much padding.
