I Saved Myself with a Potion!: Life in Another World

I'm kinda shocked that, that was it. Not to mention the way Goto was only introduced in episode 11&12 and proved to be such a significant person? The fact that questions weren't being answered was crazy as well. Other than that, I like the spring fairy design but the way it ended was disappointing

I love the relationship between Kaede and Karudeno though, even if it's a slave and owner kinda dynamic... Anyway this episode was actually well-done! I find the wraith especially intriguing, this episode did great at suspending and leading it up with a cliffhanger.

These past few episodes, Kaede is just getting targeted left and right, gosh I feel so bad for her. At least, she has a few companions now who can protect her. It is getting repetitive though. Hopefully it won't happen again because it just feel like the writers have no idea how to make it more interesting.

I don't really like the fact they're throwing the word "slaves" so comfortably even though it's just a word for stricter employment in their world, it's still weird lmao...

Again another okayish episode. I can see the writers are trying to add a little bit of drama here and there but they really executed it poorly. It didn't get me on the edge of my seats and it just felt like "wow okay that happened, moving on. " They are tackling slavery issues but it was quite short so I can't really say much, at least Kaede doesn't like the idea of buying a slave.

Okay I absolutely love Rei! She has the right amount of femininity and badass-ness, I really like that she's genuinely helping Kaede as well as far as I could see. Additionally they mentioned Barrow in this episode so I'm hoping we get to learn more about him.

Another new character introduction! I find her very interesting and I have a possible theory that she might be what I think she is. Moreover, Kaede can now make high potion now so I'm happy for her.

I would say this episode was well done. They dive into how elves work in their world and how their wounds heal differently from humans. I would definitely love to see them talking about other species as it makes the whole anime a lot more interesting albeit it's basic. Furthermore, I love Kaede realizes that her potions are helping people, she stated she was only making them to earn money but seeing that it aids people, she felt happy. I do think that's a small character development right there and I appreciate it even if it's a small one.

This episode was just okayish. Nothing interesting happens much with Kaede just making more potions. I feel that they can take a different approach- like a clue of why Kaede ended up here, memories of her previous world or even slowly uncovering the mysterious person that gifted Kaede the book. There's so much the writers could've done but alas.

Was that all?! Honestly, not a recommendable anime. The ending was really unsatisfying and not worth the time I spent enduring all the very boring episodes.

New elements were added. It was good to have a combination of action, suspense, and even a cliffhanger in one episode of this anime. This really feels different and better than the past episodes.

Finally! An adventure and a new environment for our lovely Kaede. If you get to this episode, maybe you get used to the animation of this anime. What we want are more exciting plots as we get closer to the season finale.

It seems the ideas for the story are running out. There was no improvement to the animation and pacing, other than the introduction of a new character.

Almost all the events were very predictable. It came back to getting boring again. There was so much that could have made the episode interesting.

The music during the fight scene was great! It was short but I'm glad we're finally getting somewhere. Still I wish we could've seen the MC trying a little bit harder finding ways to go back to her original world, but she's just trying to live by so I don't mind that much. Moreover, I enjoyed the two new characters that were introduced, I will say that it's crazy that both of them took MC's words at face value like yeah this is one of the methods of creating potions lmao

The MC finds out she's actually in another world... wow what a shocker. That part feels pointless to me, they should have made the MC have an emotional moment in episode 1 when discovering she's not in her world, rather than at this point. Furthermore, seeing her adapt to the environment so quickly makes me feel detached when she cried, because there were no struggles or anything, nor delving into her thought process of why she's ended in another world or even feeling scared. Her character feels empty. Overall, nothing interesting in this episode to note.

They should have stuck to a fast-paced style, like they did in the last episode. Progress was limited. But Kaede and the other characters' cuteness was emphasized, so it doesn't look bad anymore.

I am really happy that they finally added more new elements and made the story progress further. They should have had this pacing right from the start to maybe avoid dull episodes.

Still a low-budget animation. Although the cuteness is still there. There could be more that they could have done to utilize and use Kaede's cuteness to bring something more entertaining.

I find the style of animation rather cute, however it doesn't feel high quality at all. I dislike the main character reaction though when she realized she was in another world. It doesn't feel relatable at all and she got used to it rather quick. It's 13+ min per episode so it's quite fast paced.
