I Parry Everything Season 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Noor spent over a decade in isolation doing one thing: practicing parry. Not swordsmanship, not magic, not some broken combo skill — just parry. He shows up in the royal capital thinking he's the most underpowered guy alive, ready to scrape by as a bottom-tier adventurer. The thing is, when you do nothing but parry for ten-plus years, you apparently become capable of deflecting basically anything, including attacks that would level buildings. Noor has zero clue about any of this. He genuinely thinks he's weak, and the gap between what he believes and what everyone around him witnesses is where most of the fun lives. Season 2 picks up with the Kingdom of Clays in political chaos after an assassination attempt on Princess Lynneburg, and Noor keeps stumbling into the middle of it while insisting he's just some regular guy trying to pass adventurer exams. The comedy writes itself — powerful people are terrified of him, allies treat him like a living legend, and he's over there confused about why everyone's acting weird. If you liked Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town or I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World, this hits a similar nerve. The "oblivious overpowered protagonist" thing can get old fast, but Noor's specific brand of cluelessness — built entirely around one defensive skill — keeps it feeling distinct. Worth continuing if season one clicked for you.
