I Parry Everything
Oshimeter
Synopsis
For more than a decade, Noor trained alone on a mountain, grinding one skill: Parry. Not swordsmanship, not magic, not some flashy ultimate technique, but just Parry. He finally heads to the royal capital of the Kingdom of Clays with one dream: become an adventurer. The thing is, he genuinely thinks he's underpowered. He's convinced that all those years of isolation left him with nothing but a defensive skill nobody cares about. Meanwhile, the kingdom is falling apart: there's been an assassination attempt on Princess Lynneburg, neighboring nations are circling, and the political situation is a mess. Noor walks right into the middle of all this completely oblivious, just trying to register at the guild and take on quests. The comedy comes from the gap between how Noor sees himself and what he actually is. His Parry skill has been trained to such an absurd degree that it basically breaks the rules of what should be possible, but he has zero awareness of it. Everyone around him starts losing their minds watching this guy casually deflect things that should be impossible to deflect, while he's just standing there confused about why people are staring. It's a 12-episode TV series from OLM that leans into that misunderstanding humor without dragging it out too long. If you liked the "hero doesn't realize they're overpowered" vibe from Banished from the Hero's Party or I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World, this one plays in similar territory but builds the whole concept around a single defensive move, which keeps things surprisingly fun to watch.

it is good
This episode proves that Noor is clearly the most powerful character in the series! This episode has plenty of action from Noor, and the easily hilarious moment with Deridas is a GEM! The hype and the cliffhanging build-up make the audience want more!
In this episode, the pack of actions continues, and the climax is still leveling up! Thanks to our MIGHTY Main Character, Noor, and his beloved parrying talent to save the whole nation! Also, in this episode, it packs a serious punch of funny and laughable scenes!😂
This episode is jam-packed with action from start to finish! The animation, VFX, and voice acting in this episode are top-tier! The transition from the previous episode to the present episode builds a climax for our protagonist, and the fight sequences are paced perfectly! 🤩
The latest episode focuses primarily on Noor and Ines' skills. The action scene, the sound effects of this episode, and the voice acting of our MC's are SUPERB! The latter part of this episode is building up the tension and the main climax of the story! THIS EPISODE IS 11/10!🤩
The final episode is just alright. There is no fancy conclusion following the previous episode's climax. However, the last episode's captivating story twist is quite shocking, and it amazes viewers with how Noor will realize his full potential in becoming an ADVENTURER!
For me, this is the best second-to-last episode of the season! The excitement built up, and the previous episode's cliffhanger was carried over into this episode, and it did not disappoint! The buildup and peak leading up to the conclusion are EXCELLENT! 🤩
This is the most INTERESTING episode of the ENTIRE SEASON! The backstory of Rolo is a little dramatic, heartwarming, and his past is very tragic! Little do we know, the hidden backstory of Noor's body ability is quite SUPRISING and FASCINATING. That's why he's literally the GOAT!
Ines backstory is quite fascinating and interesting! Her backstory packs a motivational goal, heatwarming and emotional burst of her childhood. Regardless, Ines, Noor, and Lynne are going to team up and get ready for their upcoming challenging mission assigned by Rein Clay.
The DYNAMIC RELATIONSHIP between Noor and Lynne is quite EXCELLENT! Thanks to the Guildmaster of the Clay's Kingdom, their bond, partnership, and skills are slowly progressing as their first quest as ADVENTURERS!
It's a bit shocking that Noor is SIMPLY AS STRONG AS OVERPOWERED ANIME MC's! Thanks to Gilbert's mock battle, we're learning more about Noor's potential in this episode and the upcoming episodes! Noor and Lynne would make one of the best dynamic duo of the entire anime community!
As a finale, it delivers exactly what the title promises. It doesn't try to change the formula or force Protato become cool and self aware. It leans into the joke one last time but dials the scale up to 11. It is a satisfying conclusion that leaves the door wide open for next
This episode is back to what will he parry next? It handles the transition from war to diplomacy with a dark, humorous edge. Specifically the idea that the Kingdom will heal the enemy leaders just so they can stay awake for the grueling peace talks.
This episode is less about the action and more about the aftermath. It’s a bit slower in terms of action, but it’s very satisfying to see the villains finally realize they aren't just fighting a man they are fighting a force of nature that doesn't even know it's a force of nature
This episode provides the best spectacle of the season. Watching the protag systematically dismantle the logic of a magitek army using nothing but a basic Parry skill is incredibly satisfying. The animation during the artillery bombardment is greatly satifying as well
Right so finally delivers the large scale spectacle the series has been building toward. This is arguably one of the best episodes of the season. It delivers on the promise of the show's title in the most literal and massive way possible. Please just watch it i dont want to spoil
This episode introduces the most dangerous human threat our protag has faced yet while pushing the misunderstanding trope to its absolute limit. If you were hoping our protagonist would finally realize his strength, you'll be disappointed. He still as dense as always
This episode resolves the cliffhanger from the previous encounter and pushes the protagonist to absurd new heights. It’s a very satisfying episode because it finally explains why the protag is so durable while keeping the comedy high and adding a genuine emotion for the character
This one is a solid episode that balances world building, with the weird humor the show is known for, though our protagonist obliviousness is reaching peak levels that might test some viewers patience. Alas this episode give us the backstory on why his teachers likes him so much
This episode finally give us combo skill from our duo protagonist. Thought its a funny combination and unexpected in a certain way. Overall episode giving us front row spectacle on how our protagonist fight. Which awesome in my opinion despite his densenes
