EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 12-episode season, Episode 7 serves as a transitional breather after Alina dealt with workplace rumors in Episode 6 and before the series escalates into more intense territory starting with Episode 8. The Centennial Festival acts as both a narrative reward for Alina and a staging ground for emerging threats that will drive the back half of the season. This is the last episode where the lighthearted tone takes priority before the stakes ramp up considerably.
