EPISODE REVIEWS

Have you ever felt so pissed off at work and just want to beat something up just so you can leave on time? Well this is the anime for you! With some romance sprinkled on top.

Episode Context

A premiere that nails its premise right out of the gate. Alina Clover wants one thing: to clock out on time. The problem? She works at a guild where chaos is the default setting. This first episode leans heavily into comedy, establishing Alina as a competent receptionist who'd rather optimize workflow than swing a sword, except the title already tells you that won't last. CloverWorks delivers a vibrant fantasy world with sharp character designs, and the pacing keeps things brisk, bouncing between workplace humor and adventurer guild antics. There's enough action teased to signal bigger things ahead, but the real hook is Alina's personality, dry, efficient, and deeply relatable to anyone who's ever watched the clock at work. A strong character-driven setup that prioritizes charm over spectacle.
