It turns out that Chitanda and I had the same focus. I didn’t care about the mystery of the locked room but rather about how I would end the movie if I were Hongou. It was a lackluster end of an arc, imo it felt like nobody really won except for a cute little curiosity monger 😅. I guess it was Irisu's plan that neither Eba nor Hongou appeared in this episode 🤷‍♂️
