I honestly don't get why it is going on a down hill, this episode really disappointed me. How can an important occupation like being a Hunter have a cooking phase? Its like one piece for some reason. It has really lost some of its touch in my perspective.

Trick Tower flips the whole exam vibe. Suddenly it's tight spaces and weird rules, so the tension is all mental now. You start seeing who actually thinks ahead and how people react when things get weird. Less running around, more brain work.

Episode 9 nails a wild tonal shift. 1sthalf has Gon hilariously outsmarting his opponent with pure innocence, then it flips to Kurapika’s fight, intense and deadly, showing just how powerful he is. The contrast makes the episode so good and unexpected that it leaves an impact.
