Episode Context

Sitting deep into the Yorknew City arc at episode 54 of 62, this episode follows the Phantom Troupe's violent encounter with the Shadow Beasts and escalates the cat-and-mouse game between Kurapika and the Spiders. Hisoka's role as a wild card within the Troupe becomes a critical plot lever here. The stage is being set directly for Kurapika's pivotal confrontation with Uvogin, making this essential connective tissue for the arc's climactic stretch.
