I knew that the plot of this anime is all over the place, yet this episode is flashback to how Watashi started her job as a mediator. Take note that this is Episode 10, yet this anime only started to explain what Watashi's job entails near the end of the show. What a mess.

Brilliant episode. By exploring Watashi's school past and her meeting with "Y," the series gets more intimate. It’s a nostalgic, raw look at loneliness and how youth insecurities shape who we are today. A much-needed and well-executed emotional shift.
