The episode is basically a verbal fencing match between Souma and Prince Julius of Amidonia, with Jeanne stuck in the middle as the exasperated referee.Souma's strategy is brutally effective. Instead of arguing about borders or treaties, he just... shows Julius that he's already lost.

A nice 1st episode. Following the previous season, the anime is full of talks and discussions about running a country, but that's what makes it interesting!

Back again with the literally defined "world building" anime. Too much politics, budget and talks! Not even a single action in this episode! But I expected that since the previous seasons were like that as well!
