Haha that's funny, Miya's reaction is priceless. It's so different compared to Hori.

The way the story introduces a character is so seamless & doesn't feel forced. This episode is a wild ride. A lot of deep serious scenes and then there's Hori's weird fixation. Her character is so human in a sense that we all have strange things we are into.

Such a heartfelt episode. It’s powerful to see Miyamura confronting his past and finding peace. I love how his friends act as an amazing support system. The story is written so sincerely, making you care for them even more. Truly a solid redemption arc!

Haha Miyamura trying so hard to act rough with Hori but completely failing is so funny. Watching him struggle is entertaining. This episode was a rollercoaster, wholesome with some serious moments mixed in. And Hori’s unusual taste in dynamics? Wild but hilarious.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 9 of 13, this lands deep in the back half where Horimiya transitions from establishing relationships to testing and deepening them. It follows the fallout from episode 8's revelations in 'The Truth Deception Reveals,' using that momentum to push Miyamura toward confronting unfinished emotional business. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into 'Until the Snow Melts,' which continues tightening the bonds between the core cast as the series approaches its final stretch.
