Lots of dialogue in this one. It’s important for the lore, but it slowed things down a lot. Seeing Hoho’s memories was a nice touch, though. I just wish there was a bit more action to balance out all the talking.

This 'world made of cuteness' kinda felt like a visual sugar rush without the nuanced composition or daring color choices to back it up, making episode 10 aesthetically... kinda mid 😴

Episode Context

Two episodes from the finale, this installment builds directly on the rivalries and tensions established through Episode 8's Great Duel Festival and Episode 9's escalating conflict with the Black Hoppe-dan. Hoho's emotional collapse here is the pivotal turn of the season, it bridges her real-world despair with the Sun Kingdom in a way that appears to set the stage for the final climax across Episodes 11 and 12.
