Honour Student after School

Hinamachi Mikage and Azusawa Yasumi are both honor students with spotless reputations, but they have a very specific reason for seeking out the new guy helping at his uncle's inn, and it has nothing to do with studying. Set on a secluded island where relationships are socially discouraged, this 3-episode OVA from Studio 9 Maiami leans hard into the tension between how these girls present themselves publicly and what they actually want behind closed doors. The island setting does real work here, giving the whole thing a pressure-cooker atmosphere where social rules feel both suffocating and fragile. It's adapted from Tomoe Sasamori's manga, so the character dynamics have more foundation than you'd expect from a short-run hentai release. If you've watched something like Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo and wanted a slightly more grounded setup with a stronger sense of place, this scratches a similar itch. The animation from Queen Bee is clean and consistent across all three episodes, which isn't always a given in this genre. It's not trying to be profound — it knows what it is — but the contrast between the characters' composed exteriors and their private behavior gives it a bit more texture than a straightforward setup would. Short enough to finish in one sitting, and the island framing keeps it feeling self-contained rather than like a setup for something that never gets resolved.
