Episode Context

Sitting just past the one-third mark of this 24-episode season, Episode 9 follows the quieter domestic moments of Episode 8's dinner party and Hagumi's solitary evening, deepening the emotional undercurrents that have been building since the early episodes. It serves as a crucial introspective pause before Episode 10 shifts gears with a group outing, making this a pivotal moment where unspoken feelings crystallize and the relational dynamics gain new gravity heading into the season's middle stretch.
