Episode Context

Sitting at the exact halfway mark of the 24-episode run, this is a pivotal turning point that transforms the emotional dynamics built across the first cour into something more urgent and consequential. The slow-burn tensions between Takemoto, Hagu, and Morita that have simmered since the earliest episodes reach a critical inflection point here, with impulsive actions reshaping the relationship landscape. Everything that follows in the back half of the season will be defined by the fallout from what happens in this episode.
