Episode Context

Episode 25 is the second consecutive departure from the main storyline, following Episode 24's recap, a rough stretch for viewers invested in Yukino and Arima's arc heading into the finale. It sits as a narrative pause before Episode 26, '14 Days: 6,' which is expected to return to the primary storyline for the series' conclusion. This late-season filler is emblematic of the well-documented production struggles that plagued the show's second half.
