uorseucsrated Hinako Note

First of all, I just love the OP and ED of this series. Setting aside the catchy music, the overall direction in both is super great. I love how everyone sings so lovely and acts so goofy throughout the entire MV. It’s simply peak—I’d never skip them.

Story-wise, it’s MID to be honest. It’s not bad, but it feels like there’s barely any story at all. I mean, the plot’s supposed to be about Hinako developing herself in the drama club, but for the whole season, that general plot only gets touched on maybe four times. Still, I don’t really hate it. I still love the SoL element here. It’s simply so cute and wholesome to watch! The characters are also great, with every one of them having their own charm.

As for the craftsmanship, this is definitely my favorite of the series. The visuals, the art, the direction, the music—everything was great! Like I mentioned before, the OP and ED were just so fun to watch that I never skipped them, not even once.

To nitpick though, while the fanservice isn’t overly done (at least not to the point of making me feel disgusted), it still affects my overall immersion. After all, I want my SoL to be pure, cozy, and super cute.

Overall, I’d rate this series a 9/10. It’s really enjoyable to watch.
