Episode Context

As the 75th and final episode, 'That Same Old Smile' follows directly from the intense confrontation between Hikaru and Akira, using that emotional momentum to craft a conclusion rather than another escalation. It serves as the definitive endpoint of Hikaru's evolution from a reluctant beginner to a passionate Go player, tying together the series-long threads of rivalry, loss, and growth. There is no sequel episode, this is the last word, and it's designed to leave viewers with a sense of completion rather than a cliffhanger.
