Coming off the dramatic Ogata versus Kuwabara clash in episode 30, the series pivots back to Hikaru's own battlefield, the grueling professional exam preliminaries. At episode 31 of 75, this marks a critical transition point where Hikaru must prove he belongs among serious competitors, laying essential groundwork for the escalating challenges ahead. The introduction of Tsubaki as a psychological obstacle signals that the road to professional status will demand far more than technical growth.
