Sitting at roughly the one-third mark of the series, this episode follows Hikaru's battle with self-doubt and fear, converting that internal struggle into forward momentum as he climbs into the A-League. It serves as a critical transition point, establishing the higher-level competitive environment that will define the next stretch of episodes and directly setting the table for the Young Lion's Tournament arc, where Hikaru and his insei peers will test themselves against professional players.
