Episode Context

Coming off the Haze Go Club's ongoing struggle to recruit a third member in episode 9, this episode directly addresses that need by introducing Yuki Mitani as a compelling but complicated candidate. It's a pivotal team-building chapter early in the 75-episode run, establishing character relationships that will carry significant weight. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into the next episode's exploration of Mitani's activities outside the club, where his personal complexities begin to surface in more consequential ways.
