Synopsis
With the introduction of Hybrid Performance Exceed Reactor (HyPER)—a technology that injects new life into racing—race cars can now reach incredible speeds of up to five hundred kilometers per hour. Five years after the inception of the NEX Race, a competition where the cars are enhanced by HyPER and even AI, one man stands as the undisputed champion. Having won every title since the inaugural NEX Race season, Lorenzo M. Salvatore is the king of the racing world. Unexpectedly entering the tournament is a former ballet dancer, Rin Rindou, who has been given a chance to become a real racer after setting a world record in a racing video game. Forced to give up dancing, Rin shifts her focus to chasing a new goal, despite her lack of experience. Making the most of her peculiar skill set and the NEX Race innovations, the young newcomer may just be the one to dethrone the absolute king.

What an absolute mind-blowing finale! This was everything I was waiting for—the pressure and intensity were off the charts. Watching Rin handle all that stress and pull through was beyond incredible. I felt really bad for the drivers who couldn't realize their dream of winning after working so hard, and I was genuinely worried for Ami at one point!
This episode was absolutely awesome! That new track looked so dangerous and impressive, easily one of my favorite parts. Once the race started, everyone was pushing with aggressive, maximum force to win. The animation was top-tier, and even though Rin was under immense pressure, her character development really shone through as she performed brilliantly. Ending on such high tension left me wanting more!
What a great episode! Centering the story on Rin and Ami's dynamic brought so much charm and energy. Even though it was painful watching Rin struggle at first, their interaction and how things turned out in the end made it completely worth watching!
The night setting for Round 10 was absolutely stunning! All the bright lights and high-tech visuals gave the whole race an amazing sci-fi feel. It was really tough and full of struggles for Rin this time around, but that made the episode even more thrilling to watch. Fantastic episode overall!
Loved this episode! Stepping back from the track allowed us to appreciate Rin's growth and incredible talent. Ami can be quite rude, but that unique AI personality really adds flavor to the show. Watching Genjirou calibrate Ami's settings for the race and seeing them interact was definitely a highlight!
What a wild and stressful episode! The terrible weather turned the whole race on its head, making every turn unpredictable. Rin was under so much pressure, but her determination to keep pushing through was inspiring. Loved the surprising twist at the end!
Round 7 is officially underway! I really enjoyed how this episode stepped back from pure racing action to explore the characters and technical side of the sport. The G-Force Endurance Machine training had me laughing out loud. Such a solid and funny episode overall!
Round 6 is finally here, and those sharp corners looked seriously dangerous! It was tough for Rin at the start, but watching her adapt, pull through, and show such great character development was awesome. The whole episode was pure race action with some wild crashes. Such a fun watch!
This was such a fun and heartwarming episode! Lorenzo's character was brilliant, and I loved every bit of his interactions with Rin. It was so sweet to see Rin step up and help him out without a second thought. A great episode that really made me like both characters even more!
I really liked this episode right from the start! I'm getting more and more invested in this anime now. It was great to learn more about Rin and her family background. Also, Alice was honestly so cool and cute in this one! A really solid episode that gave us a great look into all the characters and where they stand.
Honestly, this was so much better and totally fixed what was missing earlier! The story actually kept me hooked this time. The race scenes were super cool to watch, and that ending was genuinely funny. Rin is easily my favorite character now!
