There are also more scenes with Hidaka which, while funny, feel like unnecessary drama. Yet at the same time, a surprising twist puts these concerns to come to a halt.

Hi Score Girl Episode 12 was really good and probably one of the most emotional episodes so far. I liked how the story showed the growth of the main characters, and some scenes genuinely made me curious about Season 2. The mix of romance, friendship, and retro gaming made the ending feel satisfying.
