This episode officially shifts the narrative focus entirely onto Hidaka, treating her not as a cliché "rival" but as a beautifully respected, fully-fleshed character. The episode brilliantly highlights the bittersweet contrast in her relationship with Haruo, where she represents an open book of spoken feelings, challenging him in a desperate, nothing-left-to-lose arcade battle across iconic 90s fighting games. It masterfully explores a profound thematic question: can sheer tactical skill born out of love for a person defeat a pure, unconditional passion for the game itself?Part Hidaka terpaksa heret diri pergi buat "night training" dekat kedai arked luar semata-mata nak mantapkan combo demi nak kejar cinta si lurus bendul Haruo tu memang kesian tapi respect for her. Hati kental brooo

Hi Score Girl Episode 14 was a little boring at times because it focused mostly on the matches, but the animation during the game scenes was really cool. The arcade battles still felt exciting, especially for people who enjoy retro games.

Esta es la mejor pelea de videojuegos que he visto. Los momentos previos al desafío, la forma en que este se desarrolla, lo que está en juego, ¡todo es "Absolut Cinema"!
