Episode Context

Following Arel's arrival in Bresgia in Episode 2, this episode pivots from establishing the setting to establishing stakes, putting him in direct competition within the guild and forcing him to demonstrate his worth without a class to lean on. At the quarter-mark of a 12-episode season, this is a critical momentum-builder. It directly sets up Episode 4's 'Underground Dungeon,' where the dangers escalate and Arel's adaptability faces far more perilous tests.
