This episode is not that good compared with the previous episode or the flow is really like that which is understandable. It also shows what kind of a person is Karen toward her family.

Episode Context

Positioned at episode 7 of 12, 'My Dear Hero' follows 'The Girl on My Mind,' which strengthened the group's friendship dynamics, and narrows the lens onto Karen's individual journey and her relationship with Alice. This character-focused detour serves as a bridge between the interpersonal themes of the first half and the group-oriented energy of 'Almost Summer Vacation,' setting up the season's transition toward its summer break arc.
