Episode Context

Arriving at episode 29 of 49, this episode lands squarely in the heart of the season, following a Christmas-themed supernatural encounter and continuing the show's anthology-style rhythm of weaving yokai threats into everyday school events. Rather than advancing a single overarching plot, it reinforces the series' core dynamic, Nube as protector, his students as unwitting magnets for the supernatural, while raising the stakes by cramming multiple yokai threats into one high-profile school event. It sets the tone for the back half of the season, where the blend of comedy and horror continues to sharpen.
