Episode Context

Landing at the midpoint of the series, Episode 20 follows the romantic and action-heavy chaos of Episode 19, offering a breather that doubles as character work, specifically deepening Yukime's role within Nube's circle. While it feels standalone, it reinforces the human-yokai relationship dynamics that run through the season's backbone. The new supernatural threat introduced here points forward toward Episode 21's seemingly larger-scale confrontation.
