To be honest I haven't watched the OG anime, this has completely slipped off my radar considering I have watched City Hunter and OG Gundam way back in my childhood. The studio did a good job adding some modern elements in this reboot while it also feels like I'm watching an old anime (maybe its the character design 🤔). They also didn't get sloppy with the effects and animation. It's a strong first episode, the story also got me hooked since I'm quite a sucker with stories involving yokai 😅
