Albacross Battle: First Encounter
The episode opens with Alen pinned by a giant Albacross, a stark reminder of his precarious world. He uses his slime summons to drain its strength, a strategic move born of desperation and intellect, not brute force. The fight is gritty, a close call that leaves Alen exhausted but triumphant. This victory is not just physical, it marks a significant step in his understanding of his own unusual talents.
The Taxing Truth
Alen returns home, trying to downplay his monstrous feat to his worried family, Helen, Geralt, Krena, and Mashu. The relief is palpable, but a conversation with Geralt soon reveals the village's harsh tax system, even on monster kills. Alen is clearly vexed by the injustice, especially when he learns that a magic stone, a valuable resource, is also subject to this levy. This child, so recently triumphant, now faces a system rigged against him.
A Cunning Negotiation
Alen and Geralt visit the Village Chief, a man whose affable smiles hide a firm adherence to the Lord's decrees. Geralt, guided by Alen's subtle nudges and feigned weakness, cleverly uses his elder son Rodan's past injuries as leverage. The negotiation for the Albacross meat and feathers becomes a masterclass in small-town politics, with Alen orchestrating from the background. The family secures a better share, a small victory against an indifferent power structure.
Training Montage & Level Up
Days turn into a relentless cycle of hunting for Alen, each Albacross defeat honing his summoning skills. He methodically deploys his slimes and wolves, showing calculated precision in every battle. The visual representation of his progress, his 'level up' in the magical book, is presented with a satisfying clarity. The numbers tick higher, affirming his solitary, strenuous efforts, a testament to raw determination.
The Divine Oracle Revealed
Gathered around the hearth, Alen finally confides in Helen and Geralt, revealing the 'oracle from God' he received years ago. He speaks of 'wisdom and power' and a 'trial that cannot be accomplished by a hundred men.' Their shock and concern are genuine; Helen's cry, 'God, what have you done to Alen!', echoes a parent's primal fear. Yet, Geralt quickly grasps the weight of the divine challenge, his pride warring with his worry for his son.
Winter's Demands
The onset of winter brings stark economic realities to the village. Alen observes the trade in the marketplace, noting the high cost of salt and the relative value of his monster meat. He grapples with the practicalities of survival, the stark economics of a harsh world, calculating how many Albacross he would need to fell for a simple commodity. His youthful enthusiasm meets the cold, hard figures of daily life.
The Bully's Challenge
A seemingly innocent moment at a frozen shop window is broken by the arrival of Bermus and Mashu, local bullies. Alen, weary of their antics, dismisses them as 'player killers' uninterested in 'PvP for EXP.' When Bermus attacks with a bat, Alen's calm, almost bored, response is chillingly effective. He disarms and defeats Bermus with a single, precise kick, his composure unnerving to the aggressor. This confrontation shows his quiet mastery.
The Serf Crisis
The family conversation around the campfire turns grave as Geralt reveals the Lord's new decree: 15 monsters must be defeated, or more villagers will be taken as serfs. Helen weeps at the injustice, but Alen, now fully aware of the stakes, steps forward. He calmly declares his intention to handle the hunt, taking on the burden for his family and community. His parents are surprised but see his unwavering resolve.
A Family's Resolve
The episode concludes with quiet vignettes of family life amidst the winter's chill. Alen is seen sleeping, then reading, then training diligently, his efforts mirroring the shared burden and support of his parents. Geralt bandages his arm, a symbol of his own continued labor, while Helen lovingly holds baby Mira. The scenes portray a family united, facing hardship with a quiet, shared strength, an emotional core for Alen's extraordinary journey.
EPISODE REVIEWS

I like this episode a lot. It's funny, informative, and wholesome. The spirit of brotherhood between Gerda and Rodin touched me deeply. Although there was a bit of tension between the characters, it felt more like rivalry than bullying, which I really liked.

Action this episode was well handled. The difficulty system makes fights more layered than usual.

THIS EPISODE HIT DIFFERENT. THE WHOLE VIBE IS JUST CHEF'S KISS. I AM COMPLETELY OBSESSED.
