Cecile's Despair
The episode opens on a vulnerable Cecile Grandbell, lost and weeping in a dark alley. Her small frame is consumed by grief, a paper butterfly, a poignant symbol of her lost brother Mihai, clutched in her hand. Flashbacks to Mihai's voice, expressing a raw fear of death, underscore the profound sorrow that has driven Cecile from her home. This initial scene sets a tone of deep, personal tragedy.
Allen's Unexpected Arrival
An owl, an observer of fate, watches as young Allen appears beside Cecile. He is in a butler's uniform, his calm demeanor a stark counterpoint to Cecile's disarray. His measured response, that he is merely her 'usual attendant,' highlights the unusual formality of their relationship amidst such raw emotion. It's a moment of quiet, almost unsettling, intervention.
A Small Offering and a Big Question
Cecile's anger at Allen soon gives way to a stunned silence as he produces a black book and strange, spiky 'food' from his pocket. He offers her bread, wine, and these peculiar spheres, which she eats through her continued sobs. Allen simply watches her grief, then, without melodrama, asks her if she wishes to leave town with him. It is a moment of profound, simple empathy.
The Choice to Return
Allen's proposition, a life of adventure, initially strikes Cecile as impossible, her disbelief a shield against new possibility. He patiently explains the practicalities of becoming an adventurer, urging her to consider her own desires. A flashback to Mihai's voice, declaring his will to forge his own path, ignites a spark of resolution in Cecile. She then decides not to flee, but to return to her responsibilities at the mansion.
The Grandbell's Desperate Plan
Allen carries Cecile back to her family, who greet her with a mix of relief and urgency. Her father reveals a desperate plan: to donate Mithril mining rights to the royal family, hoping to secure Cecile's forgiveness for unspecified 'crimes.' Cecile, now resolute, clips the paper butterfly into her hair, declaring her intent to fulfill her noble duties. This echoes Mihai's resolve to face his own fears.
Allen's Mithril Quest
Six months later, a now eleven-year-old Allen is seen triumphantly dispatching monsters, his voice-over detailing the Grandbell family's return to stability and the start of Mithril mining. He embarks on a solo mission, climbing a daunting mountain to a cave teeming with B-rank Queen Armored Ants. He carefully observes the challenge, noting the overwhelming numbers and strategizing to reduce their strength before a full assault.
Endless Battle and a Shocking Discovery
Allen engages in a relentless, two-month-long battle against the armored ants, his summoned creatures a constant force. His exhaustion is palpable, his eyes bloodshot from the endless fight, realizing the queen eats the defeated ants to reproduce. Finally, the tide turns, and he confronts the enormous Queen Armored Ant, commanding his bears to target its weak point. Upon its defeat, Allen discovers a vein of sparkling blue Mithril ore, a testament to his persistence.
A New Mine and Unexpected Riches
Allen returns to the Grandbell mansion with a Mithril-filled Queen Armored Ant shell and glowing ore, initially met with skepticism. He confidently presents a detailed map of the newly discovered fifth ore vein, convincing Cecile's father of its authenticity. Praised for his achievement, Allen is astounded to be awarded 30% of the mining rights. The significance of this wealth is lost on him, though he senses he has acquired something truly amazing.
Kernel's Machinations and the Grandbell's Downfall
Allen, now twelve and somewhat restless with comfort, decides to confront the Baron, seeking a 'true playthrough.' He walks into a tense meeting where Viscount Kernel uses legal and political leverage to seize the Grandbell's mining rights. Kernel taunts the father, claiming he would have forgiven Cecile's 'actions' had the family shown humility. The father collapses in despair, leaving Allen to observe the family's utter powerlessness. His eyes glow red, resolving to act.
Cecile's Abduction and Allen's Rescue
With furious determination, Allen pursues the bandits who have abducted Cecile, bursting into a room to find her unconscious. He draws his sword, engaging in a precise, strategic fight, using his black book to summon creatures. A smoke bomb, a giant toad, a giant bat, and finally, a sabertooth tiger make short work of the attackers. Exhausted, Allen unties Cecile, who slowly awakens, confused by her new surroundings.
A Terrifying New Reality
Cecile is initially amazed by the starry sky visible through the ship's window, questioning if it flies. Allen calmly explains they are on a 'magic ship' of the Kingdom of Fenlis. Her wonder quickly turns to horror as Allen starkly reveals their fate: they will be sold as slaves. Despite her terror, Allen remains composed, stating they will 'endure.' His eyes glow red, seeing this grave misfortune as merely another opportunity for growth and strategic planning.
EPISODE REVIEWS

Allen is a certified hardcore gamer with that hell of a grind. Dude grinded for months like a madman, LOL! Kidding aside, this development is really exciting. Finally, some action for our boy Allen. Though, I've got to say that this development is pretty predictable. Not that it's bad, though. It's just that there's no element of surprise here. That said, the settings is pretty solid so I am looking forward to this.

Statistically, Allen's grind is netting optimal results; new 'crisis variables' just mean more XP for max-level strats, fam. 📈🔥
