Hell Girl Episode 19: The Puppet Bride

This one is a creepier episode, with us following a new bride getting into a family of doll maker. I really feel for Inori, having to silently suffer, even when the door back to safety is right there, almost like she was groomed to fail, makes this episode sad. But the dolls, and the mother in law take the creepiness up a notch, I'll give props to the character designer for this one. I do miss exploring unanswered question in this series, as they had put some seeds but the pacing makes it long for the answer to show, Hoping for breadcrumbs in the next episode!

The episode doesn't seem right. I think it would be more correct if the plot showed that she doesn't have any other choice, but she could just run from there, as another character suggested. Overall - it feels like the plot is forced. 😕📝 5/10.

I noticed that they skip a few things with Ai unlike the previous episodes. I think this case is kind of creepy because I generally do not like dolls, I'm scared of it. It’s creepy for me but others might think otherwise. The end was unexpected though, it feels like running on an endless wheel. And the soundtrack really makes it more intense, like it’s kind of spooky.
