EPISODE CONTEXT
Arriving at episode six of twenty-six, this installment follows 'Barreling Towards Hell' and marks a deliberate tonal reset, introducing Souta as a new focal character and widening the season's roster of morally conflicted individuals. It functions as the opening half of a two-part emotional arc, directly setting up 'Bonds,' which continues examining the web of relationships surrounding Souta and Kiwako. Early in the season, the show is still establishing its thematic range and the evolving human cost of Hell Girl's services.
