EPISODE CONTEXT
Following 'Longing,' which began tightening the screws on community tension, 'Distrust' pushes that pressure to a near-breaking point — Takuma's situation grows increasingly desperate as the people around him choose fear over reason. This episode serves as the penultimate escalation before 'Chain Reaction,' where the accumulated weight of these suspicions is set to produce serious consequences heading into the season's final stretch.
