The details in animation especially Nan Feng’s lighting when it passes through Xie Lian and kind of blows his hair. Also, why is San Lang so knowledgeable? His chibi is so cute and his red eyes always get me.

Episode Context

Coming off the desert trials of 'Lost Crescentian' in episode 6, this seventh episode moves the group into a confined setting that shifts the storytelling from external threats to internal discovery and interpersonal tension. Sitting at the season's midpoint pivot, it functions as a bridge episode, consolidating character relationships while laying groundwork for the revelations promised by the upcoming 'Foreboding Wind in the Ancient Country.' With four episodes remaining, the artifacts and historical threads introduced here signal the season is transitioning from setup into its deeper mythological payoff.
